Nymalize Warnings

This medication should not be given by injection. Accidental injection of nimodipine can cause serious (rarely fatal) side effects (such as low blood pressure, slow heartbeat). Consult your doctor or pharmacist for details.
  • May cause dizziness
  • Take medication on an empty stomach one hour before or two to three hours after a meal unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
  • Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice at any time while taking this medication.
  • Do not refrigerate.
  • Protect from light
  • It is very important that you take or use this exactly as directed. Do not skip doses or discontinue unless directed by your doctor.

Lactation Warnings

  • LIMITED DATA SUGGEST LOW LEVELS EXCRETED; W/NO KNOWN ADVERSE EFFECT ON INFANT

  • Insufficient human data available on developmental toxicity risk. Consider maternal treatment benefits versus potential fetal/neonatal adverse outcomes. Animal data suggest developmental toxicity.
