Azithromycin Warnings
- Shake well before using.
- If this medication upsets your stomach, take it with crackers, bread or a small meal.
- This medicine may be taken with or without food.
- Do not take aluminum or magnesium antacids within 2 hours of taking this medication.
- May cause diarrhea during treatment. If it persists or becomes severe, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
- Persistent diarrhea due to colitis may rarely occur weeks or months after using antibiotics. If this occurs, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly.
- Do not take antacids within 2 hours of taking this medication.
- Important: Finish all this medication unless otherwise directed by prescriber.
Lactation Warnings
- AMT EXCRETED UNLIKELY TO HAVE CLIN SIGNIF EFFECT; MAY ALTER GI FLORA
